One person, remote, part-time. Stated, not hidden.
Studio Nebula is Louis Botes, working remotely from Hartbeespoort. Everything on this site was designed, built and checked by the person you deal with. Part-time means capacity is limited and stated up front, so a fixed date is a real one; and a fixed scope, price and date from one person is the alternative to an agency retainer where you never know who is doing the work.
The practices I work with usually have the same problem, and can rarely say what it is. The letterhead, the business card, the certificate and the email signature were each made at a different time, and laid side by side they disagree: a qualification spelt two ways, a blue that shifts, an address punctuated differently on every piece. None of it stops a patient. All of it makes a careful practice look less careful than it is.
I studied social media and brand management through the Digital School of Marketing, and worked with video content. Brand design has become more of my work since the studio began in 2023, and the person you speak to is the person who does the work.
What you can expect is plain: a fixed scope, a fixed price and a fixed date, all of it remote. Every engagement starts with a Brand Audit, so you see what is wrong in your own files before you commit to fixing it.

An identity here is not drawn once and exported. It is generated from a build: the geometry of the mark, the palette, the type system and every stationery item come from one source, so a colour change is one edit and a rebuild, and the SVG cannot drift from the print PDF. Two years on, a new size or a new item is a rebuild, not a phone call asking whether the designer still has the files.
Every colour pair is measured against WCAG AA and the build refuses to produce files if one fails. Minimum sizes are derived from where the mark stops resolving, not guessed. Print files carry their trim and bleed, so any printer can impose them without preparation. On the last full build, 225 files passed 21 automated checks, and the client caught one defect the checks had missed. That is said out loud on purpose: a studio that admits its checks missed something is more credible than one that claims they never do. The check runs on this site too; the one pairing that failed was refused.
